I’ve recently completed my GCSEs and I’m currently in Year 12, so I completely understand the stress, pressure, and demotivation that can come with revising for exams. I know how overwhelming it can feel, especially if you don’t have a clear exam technique or revision strategy — something I struggled with myself. Despite that, I achieved mainly grade 6s and 7s, so I know what approaches actually work and how to tackle tricky topics efficiently.
My lessons are patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I focus on building confidence, improving exam technique, and helping students find revision methods that suit them personally. I can break down topics into manageable chunks, make practice questions feel less intimidating, and show ways to remember key information without feeling overwhelmed. I’m approachable and friendly, so students can ask questions freely, and I like to keep the lessons engaging with a bit of humour and sarcasm to make learning more enjoyable. Overall, I aim to make revision less stressful and more effective so that students feel confident going into their exams
My biggest tip is: Fake it till you make and delulu is sululu.
It might sound ridiculous but if you think you can do it and you put your mind into it then it does become true I’ve had it happen to me. For GSCE English language i was getting 4s for my mocks but then i taught am gonna get 9s which i didnt but i had the mindset and i got a 7 which i was really pleased with.
