I have known Harjot for quite a few years now, initially through academics and over time I have seen him grow into someone who genuinely lives and breathes mathematics. What stands out isn’t just his knowledge but the consistency with which he’s always been the person others turn to when something doesn’t make sense. The thing I appreciate most about his teaching is how natural it feels. He doesn’t make maths intimidating or overly technical instead, he brings it down to a level where it actually starts to feel logical and even enjoyable. He’s incredibly patient, and more importantly, he pays attention. He can tell when someone hasn’t fully understood something, even if they say they have and he’ll go over it again in a completely different way until it truly clicks. He truly believes and you can see it in the way he teaches is that no student is ever weak at maths, sometimes they just haven’t been taught in the right way yet.
