Advert description
Are you or your child getting tied in knots by complex concepts and challenging set texts? Let me help you get back on track and reach your academic potential. Hi, my name is Fi, and I offer in-person and online humanities tutoring (English, History, Politics, Sociology, etc.) across Birmingham for secondary, college, university, and adult learners. Through interactive learning tailored to your needs and learning style, I’ll help you get to grips with your subject and develop essential skills like critical thinking and time management to excel academically and professionally.
I use an inquiry-based approach to learning, where I’ll pose questions and scenarios through activities and discussions rather than bombarding you with facts. This approach will ensure you can work through your academic challenges independently beyond our sessions. So, whether you need specific support for an upcoming test or assignment or require ongoing academic coaching or homework support, let’s work together.
A little bit about me: I graduated from the University of Cambridge (2014) with a 2:1 in Politics, Psychology and Sociology and am currently studying for an MSc in Psychology at Birmingham City University, thus far achieving four 1st and one upper 2:1. I am a Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham City University’s School of Media and a multi-subject undergraduate mentor at the University of Birmingham and Birmingham City University, providing academic, employability, and career guidance. I am also an industry-qualified PR professional with eight years of experience and recently established my own PR consultancy, Ember Comms.
