I'm a secondary French & Spanish teacher passionate about helping learners feel confident with languages. I teach French and Spanish in school and offer online lessons in the evenings and weekends, tailored to each student’s goals, GCSE support, catching up, exam practice, or building fluency through real life communication.
For me, learning French or Spanish is not just about memorising vocabulary lists or completing grammar exercises, it’s about developing a real ability to communicate, understand people and cultures, and express yourself in another language.
Whether you are learning for school, exams, travel, work, or personal interest, my aim is always the same: to help you make consistent progress in a supportive environment where you feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and growing in confidence.

In school, I teach French and Spanish to secondary learners and I work hard to create lessons that are structured, engaging, and accessible for students with different starting points and needs. Alongside my classroom teaching, I also offer online French and Spanish lessons in the evenings and at weekends.
I support learners across a range of levels, from beginners who need to build a strong foundation, to more confident learners who want to refine their skills and aim for higher grades.
A lot of learners come to languages feeling anxious, especially about speaking. Many students tell me they “understand it” but panic when they have to speak, or they feel embarrassed about pronunciation. Others feel stuck because grammar seems confusing, or they have gaps in their knowledge from earlier years. I understand these challenges, and I believe confidence grows when students experience small wins, regularly. That is why I focus on clear explanations, guided practice, and repeated opportunities to succeed.
