A-Level Psychology tutor, A* grade, university research background

I achieved an A* in Psychology at A-level and have delivered over 1,800 tutoring sessions since 2022. I'm currently a PhD researcher, having completed an MSci in Biomedical Science at the University of Manchester.

A-Level Psychology rewards students who go beyond memorising studies. You need to know the research, but marks come from evaluation: methodology, sample limitations, competing explanations, real-world application. That's where most students plateau, and it's where I focus.

My research background is genuinely useful here. I evaluate studies for a living, so teaching a student to spot a weak sample or a confounding variable comes naturally.
Lessons combine content coverage with essay planning and timed practice, working from the mark scheme so you know exactly what a top band answer looks like.
