I'm a geography graduate and completed my teacher training at The University of Cambridge and have 16 years of experience.

Effective and professional working partnerships are hugely influential in underpinning learning - both content and skills. I believe in employing a blend of mentoring and coaching techniques to teaching geography as well as essential study and revision skills. I have worked with a range of pupils and their educational needs and am skilled in adapting my lessons to suit the individual. After an initial conversation about your aims for the sessions I will plan our lessons using a variety of activities that are progressive. The activities will be worked through collaboratively and independently with time for feedback, questions from you and reflection before simply moving on. I am happy to be flexible on lesson length but feel 50-60 minutes in the longest for concentration. For lessons of this length, I will structure in activities to allow 'rest'.
