Drum kit Lessons (beginner - grade 5 level)

Drum kit lessons at your house, if you are near enough!

I have been drumming most of my life, with a love of jazz from my days in a youth Big Band. I did a maths degree until 2025 but kept up the drumming with music society jazz things, a wedding band, the odd bar and playing occasionally for my church.

I have grade 8 distinction from before Uni. Can teach a range of styles, besides the usual rudiments and basic stick technique. Happy to tailor my lessons to what you want if you are interested in anything specific. I can play very basic guitar to you if you want to try that (not guitarists though or you will end up teaching me!). Also happy to go through grade materials if you want to do that.

Will teach at your location. Since I can't drive this depends on location and convenience.
