GCSE Maths tutor - Standard and Higher

I recently completed both GCSE Mathematics (Grade 8, 2023) and A-Level Mathematics (Grade A, 2025). I have one year tutoring experience in both KS3 and GCSE Maths, helping students become more confident and capable in their mathematical abilities.
I believe that building confidence and understanding is just as important as improving grades, especially in maths. I tailor and adapt each lesson to the individual student’s needs, learning style and goals. My teaching begins with a knowledge check and discussion with both the student and their guardian to identify strengths, targets and areas for improvement.
My lessons combine interactive, collaborative and independent learning activities to keep students engaged whilst also developing their skills. I explain multiple methods in depth where appropriate, allowing students to discover approaches that work best for them.
