Friendly English Tutoring for Primary and 11+ Students from a Passionate Writer

Hi! I’m Helena, and I offer friendly and supportive English tutoring for primary school and 11+ students. I’m a student myself, so I understand how much easier learning can be when things are explained clearly and without pressure. In my lessons, I’ll work at your pace and focus on the areas you find most difficult, whether that’s comprehension, creative writing, spelling and grammar, vocabulary or 11+ preparation. I like to make lessons interactive and encouraging, and I’ll always make sure you understand something before moving on. English is one of my strongest subjects and I especially love reading and creative writing. I also published my own book at the age of 13, so writing is something I’m genuinely passionate about! You can expect me to be patient, prepared and approachable, and I’ll adapt each session to what you want to improve. My aim is to help you feel more confident in English as well as improve your skills.
