Advert description
I have my primary degree in Medicine and, I finished my Ph.D. in Public Health specifically in Cancer Epidemiology at Queen’s University Belfast during which I conducted a series of studies addressing current knowledge gaps around the association between poor oral health, related bacteria and GI cancer risk and progression. For my research, I successfully worked independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
My research to date has resulted in six publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals, including two articles in journals considered to be in the top 10% in their field (7,8). I have also presented multiple formal presentations (7,8), in which I had to communicate complex information clearly.
I have also completed the CMI Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership, and the certificate of Associated fellow for high education at QUEENS University Belfast.
Finally, my ability to be versatile and combine academic and non-academic working deadlines are skills highly required for this position. I believe that my background as a public health researcher (in cancer and oral health) and Physician makes me an exceptional candidate to be a tutor.
