Advert description
Bonjour,
My name is Marion, I am 33 years old and I am French.
Being a native French speaker and fluent in English, passionate about languages and having been down the path of learning a new language myself, I understand the struggles that a new language learner might have and I know how to be successful, whatever level you decide you want to achieve.
Whether you would like to know the basics to be ready for an upcoming holiday to France, practice your French through simple or more intensive conversations, write in French, prepare for an exam (GCSE, A LEVEL, DALF, DELF...), want your children to learn some French... I am all up for it!
What's happening during a lesson?
All the lessons are ONLINE, through Zoom or Skype and will last 55mn (or 25mn for half an hour).
I use various contents such as workbooks, audio documents, and videos and I am trying to keep up to date with the constant flow of new learning material to give you the best experience.
My aim is to make learning French as fun as possible while matching your needs and reaching your goals.
After each lesson, I would send you an email with a recap of what had been covered (+ materials), what you can do at home to practise - only if you want - and what we would cover in the next lesson so you know exactly where you are at.
My qualifications as a French Tutor:
- Level 3 in Education and Training - Belfast Metropolitan College
- Enseigner le Français Langue Étrangère (Teach French as a Foreign Language) - Alliance Française de Vichy
My background: After obtaining my Baccalauréat (equivalent A Levels) in Economic and Social Sciences, I studied for 5 years to become an osteopath in France. In 2016 I decided that I wanted to learn to speak English and I left my home country to spend one year working and travelling in New Zealand. I spent another two years in Australia and in 2019 I decided to come back to Europe and move to the UK.
