Fluent Spanish Speaker Eager to Support English Speakers on their Spanish Learning Journey!

Hello,

My name is Brynna, and I am currently finishing up my Master's in Irish Studies at Queen's University, Belfast. I am a native English speaker from Derry, who is back in Northern Ireland after living in California for 15 years. I am also a fluent Spanish speaker, who has been speaking/studying the language for 13 years with multiple years of experience working as a youth educator in Spanish speaking schools.

I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in Spanish Language and Literature, where I graduated with a 3.88 GPA, and received both the annual Cervantes Award and the John K. Walsh scholarship for excellence in the Spanish Language department.

Between my undergraduate studies and my Master's, I worked as a youth educator in an English-Spanish bilingual school. Through this work, not only have I developed a passion for teaching, but also a unique knowledge of how best to support students during their language learning processes, its different steps, and sometimes its challenges!

I come to FindTutor not only with a strong command of written and spoken Spanish, but also with the first-hand experience of what it is like to learn Spanish for the first time. If you're a native English speaker, it's a process that is often exciting, but sometimes confusing and challenging. I'm ready to meet you wherever you're at.

Available for basic to advanced lessons, and can personalize lessons based on students' needs, including but not limited to:
