Hello! I am a friendly, passionate tutor who really enjoys the magic of learning Japanese. I love to share this enthusiasm with my students in lessons tailored to their individual language learning goals. I have experienced living in Japan for 3 years, 1 year on a study abroad exchange at Nagoya University and 2 years as a JET programme ALT teaching English at schools in Toyama prefecture. I have achieved JLPT N2 during that time.

My lessons are suited to beginner learners, perhaps people who are looking to travel to Japan and pick up some of the language, preparing for a study abroad placement or just want to learn for the fun and challenge. I can tailor my lessons around textbooks and resources you might already own, or recommend other ways to structure your learning.
