Advert description
Hi, I’m Nai, and I teach psychology. I look forward to helping you explore how people think, feel, learn, and behave through personalised one-to-one tutoring.
Whether you are new to psychology, preparing for exams, or developing your essay-writing skills, I will tailor our sessions to your goals. For beginners, we can build a foundation in key concepts and theories. For exam preparation, we can review challenging topics, practise questions, and develop effective revision strategies. For essay writing, I can help you interpret questions, structure arguments, evaluate evidence, and express your ideas clearly.
My approach is to make psychology clear, engaging, and relevant to everyday life. I use familiar examples, questions, and discussions to help you connect psychological theories with situations you recognise. Whether we are exploring memory, emotions, or social influence, I will encourage you to ask not only “What does this mean?” but also “What evidence supports it?”
You can expect a patient and respectful learning environment where you will be heard without judgement and questions are always welcome. I have experience tutoring DAP students and working as a counsellor, which has helped me develop strong listening and paraphrasing skills. I am confident in listening carefully and reflecting back what you mean to check my understanding. I warmly welcome you to explore questions and discuss ideas with me.
You do not need to know all the answers before you arrive—that is what learning is for. If a concept feels confusing, we can break it down, try a different explanation, and work through it together. I will adapt my pace to your needs and provide clear feedback, highlighting your strengths and practical steps to improve.
Psychology can involve personal or sensitive topics. I will respect different perspectives and personal boundaries, and you will never be expected to share private experiences to participate.
Above all, I hope to help you become a more curious and confident learner. My goal is for you to understand psychological ideas, think critically about them, and develop your own thoughtful questions about human behaviour.
