English Literature Tutor (GCSE–A Level) | First-Class BA & Distinction MA | Published Poet | Online Lessons

I am a dedicated and supportive English tutor. I hold a First Class Bachelor’s degree in English Literature & Creative Writing, and a Distinction at Master’s level from The Open University. Alongside my academic background, I am also a published poet, which provides both a practical understanding of writing and a strong foundation in literary analysis. I take a calm, structured, and patient approach to tutoring, aiming to create a supportive learning environment where students can build confidence and develop their ideas at their own pace. My focus is on helping students engage more deeply with texts, improve their written expression, and strengthen their analytical skills. All of my tutoring is delivered online, allowing for flexible, remote sessions that can be tailored to each student’s needs and schedule. My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-level students studying English Literature or English Language, as well as anyone looking to improve their essay writing or critical thinking. I can also support university students with academic writing, essay structure, and developing clear, coherent arguments.
