In addition to an undergraduate degree in English, I have successfully completed all course work for a master's degree in education with a focus on English and have completed courses and exams toward a PhD in English.

I excel at teaching grammar in writing and in conversation. I am effective at helping students write personal and critical essays which earn top grades in high school and in college. I have a hands-on and detail-oriented approach that guides students to develop the best skills in English that are useful in everyday life, in the workplace, and in school.
