GCSE Maths Tutor - 17 year old innovative student

In October 2021, these were my mock results:

- Maths: 7
- Chemistry: 3 (fail)
- Biology: 7
- Physics: 6
- English Language: 8

In my gcses, a mere 8 months later I achieved 10 grade 9s: scoring over 10% into the 9 boundary in Chemistry.

Consequently, I have clear and immense proof that I know how to succeed at gcse level, and that I know how to improve my grades and revise. I took further maths for one year at A-Level, before dropping down to A-level maths. I am predicted 3 A*s.

I am able to use my recent knowledge of and success with my gcses in 2022 to relate to the student and build a positive working relationship. I aim to teach not only maths, but also how to learn and revise more generally. Achieving 10 grade 9 gcses has given me a lot of confidence regarding how to learn and I feel very lucky to be able to tutor.

Each lesson I aim to tailor specifically to the student and build a broad knowledge of maths at this stage, as opposed working on one thing the entire lesson.

I currently tutor a year 10 student and have already seen improvements.

I feel that my age is a very positive factor in my tutoring as it allows me to relate very strongly to the tutee and develop a fun and positive relationship with them. I am also very confident with technology and consider myself an innovative reviser.
