1 to 1 Tutoring for P1-7 with a qualified and currently working class teacher!

I am an experienced primary school teacher with a current P3/4 class of my own, and I am looking to expand my support further beyond the classroom.

As a parent we all want the best for our children, and when we see they are struggling we automatically want to step in and help. However some areas of the curriculum are not as straight forward as they look, and despite your best efforts, your child is still hitting speedbumps.

I can offer bespoke 1 to 1 teaching in the relevant topic/subject and tailor my approach in line with the national curriculum progressions, ensuring your child has the same tools they would have in the classroom alongside their peers. I will provide a nurturing environment for your child to learn, building a trusting and respectful relationship and provide a bit of fun in their learning too! It is imperative to me that their wellbeing is at the center of our sessions and I aim to create a calm and friendly session, where they can build their confidence in themselves and their learning. Hopefully it becomes a session they look forward to!

I can also offer support with with homework or revision and consolidation of knowledge to prepare for entrance exams to private schools.

I am a qualified class teacher with a PDGE and a Degree in Business Management. Prior to my career in teaching I worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for 9 years in a variety of customer facing and support services. Since moving to teaching 3 years ago, I absolutely love the satisfaction that comes with those light bulb moments for the children and watching them regain their confidence and joy around learning.
