I teach the skills behind the music, not just the notes on the page. With 25+ years’ experience as a piano teacher and professional concert pianist, I build strong foundations in technique, coordination, note-reading, rhythm and musical understanding.
Students often come to me from other teachers to address persistent technical difficulties, including weak fingers, tension and trouble with fast passages.
I tailor guidance to each student and also give practical masterclasses to aspiring piano teachers, sharing my approach to technique and effective teaching.
