Patient English Teacher Supporting Young Learners to Improve Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening Skills

Hi, I’m Nicole, a friendly and patient English tutor who enjoys helping children develop confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and listening. My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each child’s individual learning style and goals.

I use a positive, child-centred teaching approach that includes games, stories, conversations, phonics, reading exercises, and creative activities to make learning enjoyable while building strong language skills. I encourage students to ask questions and learn at their own pace in a supportive environment.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger learners. Each lesson includes a mix of learning, practice, and feedback to help students make steady progress.

I have experience working with children through my volunteer role in a children’s church programme, where I supported and taught young learners in a fun, encouraging setting. This has helped me develop excellent communication, patience, and the ability to adapt lessons to different ages and abilities.

My lessons are ideal for children aged 4–12, including beginners, primary school pupils, and young learners who want extra support with English, homework, reading, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or conversational English.
