I am a qualified and experienced Online English as a Foreign Language (EFL) tutor with a BA in English Pedagogy and an MA in English. I have experience teaching English in both classroom and one-to-one settings and currently work in a school environment supporting EAL and neurodiverse learners across primary and secondary levels.
My lessons are always personalised and designed around the learner’s age, level, learning style, and goals. Before starting, I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and areas for development. This allows me to create structured yet flexible lessons that support steady progress while keeping learners engaged and confident.
Lessons may include:
• Speaking and listening practice through guided conversation
• Grammar and vocabulary explained clearly and in context
• Reading and writing activities adapted to the learner’s level
• Visual supports, repetition, and scaffolding where needed
• Confidence-building activities for hesitant or anxious learners
I use a calm, supportive, and encouraging teaching style, which is especially helpful for learners who may lack confidence or need extra reassurance. I am experienced in adapting lessons for students with additional learning needs and ensure that learning is always positive and achievable.
All lessons are delivered online with flexible scheduling. My aim is not only to improve English skills, but also to help learners feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of their progress.
Regular feedback is provided to parents and learners, with clear progress updates, achievable targets, and practical strategies to support learning between lessons and encourage continued improvement outside sessions over time consistently independently.
