I first assess student ability and then create resources for them based on their needs and skills. I work on teaching content, focusing on understanding over memorising, and then test for improvements as often as I can. I will adjust the content and resources based on the difficulty the student requires. I prioritise independence when teaching as students need to be able to create answers for themselves in exams. I teach methods for information retention and active recall as these are useful skills in all levels of study. GCSEs can be very stressful but are also an important part of education, I provide transferable skills that they can use in higher education too. I teach primarily science (physics, biology, chemistry), maths, english literature and language. These are core subjects but can often be the most difficult. I always make sure to get to know the students I am teaching and how their brain understands information so I know the most efficient way to teach them. I will provide study materials and powerpoints they can use to revise anytime as well as a comprehensive personalised study guide for their chosen subject. In my 3 years of experience I have helped many students move up 1 or 2 grades, and sometimes even 3 if they are dedicated. All students have potential but not all have teaching methods that are catered for them. My lessons are affordable and the price is always negotiable, I believe education should always be accessible for all ages.
