Zoe Pompili

Hello! I’m originally from Italy but moved to Scotland when I was 12, so I know what it’s like to adapt to a new culture and language. I went on to study Psychology at university, and I now work for a children’s charity, supporting young people in different aspects of their lives. Alongside this, I’d love to share my knowledge and experience through tutoring classes in my free time. I’m passionate about helping others learn in a supportive, encouraging way, and I enjoy tailoring lessons to each student’s needs and goals.

In my lessons, I focus on creating a relaxed and positive environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and grow at their own pace. I usually begin by identifying the areas you’d like to strengthen, then design each session to match your needs—whether that’s developing core skills, preparing for exams, or practicing through interactive exercises. I use a mix of explanations, practice tasks, and discussion to keep sessions engaging and varied. With my background in psychology and my experience working with children and young people, I bring patience, understanding, and a student-centred approach to teaching. My aim is to help you not only improve academically but also gain confidence in your own abilities.
