Struggling with maths shouldn't mean struggling alone. I'm Zoe, a Physics student at the University of Southampton, starting in September 2026, with a genuine love of making numbers make sense and over a year's experience doing exactly that for GCSE and A-Level students online. Alongside my tutoring, I've worked as a school science technician, supporting Physics, Chemistry and Biology lessons from Year 7 through to Sixth Form, so I understand what exam boards and mark schemes are looking for.
I've helped GCSE and A-Level maths students build real confidence and results, using worked examples, an interactive whiteboard and carefully chosen exam questions to bridge the gap between "I don't get it" and "I've got this." Every lesson is planned around your child's schoolwork, mock results and target grade, and every session ends with marked follow-up questions, so progress is visible, not just hoped for.
My patience and adaptability come from real experience with young people: as an RYA-certified Dinghy Instructor teaching children aged 8 to 16, I learned to read confidence levels and change approach the moment something isn't clicking. Two years at the Centre for Young Musicians taught me the discipline of deliberate practice, and earning my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award reflects the same grit I bring to a tricky quadratic.
I'm Enhanced DBS-checked, first-aid trained, and fully committed to online teaching that's clear, encouraging and genuinely effective.
