Hello! I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in TESOL in the UK. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Translation, a Chinese Teacher Qualification Certificate, and a TEM-8 Certificate.

Having studied and lived in both China and the UK, I have developed strong intercultural communication skills and understand the challenges language learners face when using English in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.

I have experience working with learners from beginner to advanced levels. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether they want to improve speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, academic English, or overall confidence. I create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable practising English and making progress at their own pace.

My teaching approach focuses on practical communication, personalised feedback, and building confidence. Whether you are learning English for school, university, work, exams, or daily life, I will help you develop the skills you need to achieve your goals.

My background in translation has given me a deep understanding of both English and Chinese language structures, which helps me explain complex language points clearly and effectively. I am particularly skilled at helping learners overcome common difficulties caused by differences between the two languages. In addition, my international study experience allows me to support students who are preparing for overseas education or looking to improve their cross-cultural communication skills. I believe that language learning is not only about mastering grammar and vocabulary, but also about building confidence, developing critical thinking, and communicating meaningfully with people from different backgrounds.
