My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style. Whether you’re looking to improve your confidence, prepare for exams, strengthen your understanding of a subject, or develop a new skill, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

At the beginning of our lessons, we’ll identify your strengths, areas for improvement, and specific objectives. From there, I will create a personalised learning plan designed to help you make steady progress. Lessons typically combine clear explanations, guided practice, worked examples, and independent tasks to help consolidate understanding. For exam-based subjects, I also focus on exam technique, revision strategies, and practice questions to help students achieve their best possible results.

As a recent student myself, I understand the challenges of studying and preparing for assessments. Having achieved strong academic results and worked with students in a variety of settings, I can explain complex ideas in a clear and approachable way. I believe learning should be engaging rather than intimidating, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual student.

My qualifications include predicted A* grades at A-level in English Literature, Mathematics, and Music, alongside GCSE grades of 9 in English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Music, Physics, and Chemistry. I also achieved grade 8s in French, History, Biology, and Latin, and a grade 7 in Further Mathematics. In addition, I hold a TEFL qualification, an Enhanced DBS check, a BTEC qualification in Teamwork and Leadership, and a Grade 8 Distinction in Cello. Alongside tutoring, I have held leadership positions including Head Chorister, RAF Flight Sergeant, and Head Rugby Coach, developing strong communication and mentoring skills that I bring to every lesson.
