My Art Lessons Description

I am a Chinese illustrator based in London with over 10 years of experience working with children and young students aged 5 to 15, though I am also happy to teach students of any age. My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student's interests and skill level.

Lesson Format and Content:

Each session begins with a PowerPoint presentation to introduce the theme of the lesson, providing context and inspiration.
I then demonstrate a simple example related to the theme, showcasing techniques and mediums such as gouache, acrylic, coloured pencils, ink, and mixed media.
Students will have the opportunity to create their own artworks, guided step-by-step through the techniques introduced.
The class involves a combination of demonstration, hands-on practice, and creative experimentation.
I encourage students to explore different materials and styles, fostering their artistic confidence and expression.
Feedback and Support:

After the students complete their artwork, I offer personalized feedback to help them improve and understand their strengths.
My teaching approach focuses on nurturing creativity, developing technical skills, and enjoying the process of making art.
