My lessons begin with grasping my students level of understanding of concepts. I usually begin with clear explanations of concepts, followed by regular checks for understanding. I like to use real life examples or practical applications as I find that can make more abstract concepts easily understood. I enjoy interactive elements too such as videos. Once understanding seems secure I think it is very important to incorporate practice exam questions, working through mark schemes and exam techniques to build confidence as well as highlight weaker areas of knowledge
