PGCE-qualified maths tutor with mechanical engineering background and current full-stack software engineering experience.

I apply evidence-based pedagogical principles including formative assessment, differentiated instruction, and scaffolded learning to help students at GCSE. My approach combines rigorous educational theory with practical applications, using continuous assessment moment-to-moment to adapt lessons to individual learning styles and needs. Whether building foundational understanding or tackling advanced concepts, I focus on developing genuine mathematical reasoning, problem-solving confidence and a growth mindset. Recent classroom experience and passion for making complex mathematics accessible to all learners.

We'll use a variety of technological tools to enrich the learning experience, carefully crafted learning material and a personable experience. I have an interest in science, technology, tennis, football, video games, films and meditation and will often find the maths in things we enjoy.
