PhD Educated Mathematics Tutor for GCSE & A-Level Students

I am a friendly and patient mathematics tutor with a PhD in Mathematics, who currently teaches and carries out research at a leading London university. Alongside my academic career, I have extensive experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students, supporting learners across a wide range of abilities and exam boards.

My teaching style is supportive and encouraging. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges at their own pace. I focus on clear explanations and practical problem-solving skills that students can use confidently in exams and further study.

Every session is carefully prepared in advance and tailored to the individual student. I take time to understand each learner’s goals, strengths, and areas for improvement, and can design bespoke materials and exercises so that our time together is focused, effective and genuinely useful.

I am available to tutor A-Level (as well as university entrance exams) and GCSE students.
