Zaeem

Hi! I’m Zaeem, a dedicated online GCSE Maths and Physics tutor with a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics. I specialize in helping UK-based students navigate both AQA and Edexcel exam board requirements across Foundation and Higher Tiers.
My Experience & Methodology
Over the past year, I have been working directly with UK GCSE students, guiding them through long-term exam preparation. My academic background in pure mathematics and statistics allows me to break down complex algebraic proofs, multi-step problem solving, and physics formulas into simple, logical steps. I focus on understanding the underlying core concepts rather than memorization, turning intimidating topics into approachable challenges.
Lesson Format & Dynamics
Live Interactive Whiteboards: Lessons are live, engaging, and interactive. We work through calculations and concepts together in real time on a shared digital screen.
Structured & Paced Sessions: Each 60-minute lesson starts with a quick recap of previous material, followed by core concept delivery, guided practice, and an end-of-session summary.
Exam Board Focus: We regularly work through official past-paper questions and mark schemes line by line. This ensures students understand exactly what examiners look for and how to secure step-by-step method marks.
Supportive & Patient Environment: Lessons are conversational and tailored to each student’s pace, helping to eliminate subject anxiety and build steady confidence.
Whether your goal is strengthening baseline numeracy and foundational physics or mastering complex higher-tier concepts for top grades, my lessons provide the structure, clarity, and practice needed to succeed.
