Hi, I'm Zach!

I'm offering lessons online and at my home in Glossop, Derbyshire. I'm offering the first lesson free, so you can make a decision you're happy with.

We can cover anything you are interested in as I believe the best way to make progress with guitar is by learning what you enjoy and have a passion for. We can improve technique, go over music theory, practice songwriting, develop improvisation skills - whatever you want to focus on. Everyone has different music tastes, and we will cover the music that YOU love. This could be the more conventional rock, blues, folk, jazz, classical, but also hip hop or EDM if that's what you love. The possibilities are endless, and I can help you with your goals, whether that's to be an amazing soloist or a folk troubador.

Our lessons will be laid-back and fun! One of my favourite things to do is discussing musical ideas with other people. Though I am guiding you in your progress, I will always welcome your ideas and encourage you to think as a musician and make suggestions if you feel like it. It would be great to not only be teacher and student, but at some point associates in the musical world.

In addition to teaching experience, I have played guitar for over ten years and have performed at pubs, parties, cafes, festivals, weddings and private functions. I love going to jam nights and playing with other musicians as well.
