I offered internal tuition in year 12 to GCSE students studying maths. I believe the best way to learn is through repetition so the lessons would be either learning the subject and then learning it again or repetition of learning the subject. I have resources from last year such as all the textbooks plus a brilliant website called uplearn which would aid the lessons. If the student does not get the content after the lesson I can refer them to YouTube videos or the videos provided on uplearn to help them understand the key concepts. I would try to teach just ahead of what they are doing in class as it is proven that learning a part of a topic before learning it in class can make it embed in the mind easier. The dynamics of the session would be quite free flowing as I was in the same boat this time last year or two years ago depending on what year they are in. I would be flexible in hours they want to do and what they want to do in that time.
