My maths lessons are designed to be clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I start by understanding what the student is currently working on and where they feel less confident, then build lessons around strengthening those areas while reinforcing core concepts.

A typical session is structured but flexible. We usually begin with a quick recap of previous material, followed by step-by-step explanations of new topics using worked examples. I focus on making sure students understand the “why” behind methods, not just how to apply them. After that, we practise together with guided questions before moving on to independent problems to build confidence.

I support students with homework, revision, and exam preparation, including breaking down past paper questions and sharing useful techniques for tackling them efficiently. I also adapt my teaching style depending on the student—whether that means going at a slower pace, using visual explanations, or challenging them with more advanced problems.

I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a more positive attitude towards maths.

I also incorporate short quizzes to track progress and identify gaps early, ensuring steady improvement over time. For online lessons, I use interactive tools like digital whiteboards to keep sessions engaging. I am reliable, well-prepared, and committed to helping every student reach their full potential, regardless of their starting point and adapt lessons quickly and effectively when needed.
