With over 25 years experience of face-to-face and online training, coaching and consulting the format of my delivery is based on two things; the subject matter and the learner.
There will always be some 'tell' as I explain a theory or a model. There will always be some active learning where you get the chance to try something out in a safe space. There will be opportunities for reflection where you can compare new knowledge and understanding with what you already know and how you may change or implement things. And finally there will always be the chance to share your current situations or knowledge and discuss with me or others how that plays out in real pragmatic ways.
Powerpoint or other visuals do get used but not at the expense of your engagement!
I work on the principle that there is no such thing as a stupid question, only one that you have not had answered before. I also hold a strong belief that learning only takes place when you are doing so there will be sessions that are opportunities for you to plan implementation of new thinking or report back on how your new approach worked/
