My lessons are built around one simple goal: helping you enjoy playing guitar while making real, noticeable progress. I keep things relaxed, supportive, and practical, so you’re always working on music that feels relevant to you, not just exercises from a book.

Each lesson usually starts with a quick warm-up or technique check to make sure your hands are relaxed and your timing is solid. From there, we focus on a mix of songs, riffs, and targeted exercises depending on your level and goals. For beginners, that might mean building strong foundations — chords, rhythm, and basic lead playing — in a way that feels musical rather than boring. For more advanced players, we can work on tricky techniques, complex rhythms, or styles like math rock, bossa nova, or modern rock and fusion.

I’m completely self-taught and have been playing for over eight years, moving through many genres — from rock and metal to more technical styles and Latin-influenced guitar. That means I understand what it’s like to get stuck, to feel frustrated, and to push through to the next level. I don’t teach one rigid method; instead, I adapt how I explain things so they make sense to you.

I also encourage students to bring in music they love. We can break down songs, understand why they work, and use them to build technique and musical confidence. My aim is that you leave each lesson feeling clearer, more motivated, and excited to pick up your guitar again.
