In my experience with maths, I know certain students find it more difficult than others to understand and really grasp certain topics/ areas. I understand this as when I studied maths, I always found certain equations really confusing etc. However now I understand and grasp the topics of maths really good and hope to inspire and teach children maths in a way that isn’t confusing, but fun and easy to remember. I am very good at communicating, asking children questions in an easy and understandable way. I also get how kids react to maths and how they are different to adults, so I know exactly how to plan my lessons to make it kid friendly. For my lessons, I will normally use a PowerPoint to explain the content. I will also add onto there certain tasks and questions that the kids can do in timed conditions. My lessons are really to understand and children love them. I always am prepared before each lesson so I know the content perfectly.
