Daniel Aylett

I have been in the education sector for 8 years and a qualified teacher for 4 years. I am extremely passionate about teaching and believe that every child should have the best possible opportunity to succeed in life. Some of those foundations come from their school life.
One of my best traits as a teacher is my patience and my ability to get to know each of my students really well. I get to know what works well for them and have always showed excellent progress in students I have worked with. I always plan lessons with students' interests at heart.
In my lessons, there is always ample opportunity to learn new concepts, practice new concepts with a range of concrete and visual manipulatives before we progress on to independent work. Following this, there is stretch and challenge work that will deepen a student's understanding of a task through the ability to solve reasoning and problem solving questions.
