I have two years of tutoring experience from ages 11-18. When meeting a new student, I first ask what their goals are and what they need support with so that I can support them in the best way.

Typically, my teaching style involves 3 steps

1- Identifying knowledge gaps. This can be through students telling me what they struggle with, past school exam results, or questions I set the student

2- Filling knowledge gaps. I do this by using the exam board specification of the exam the student will sit. Teaching will be done through tutor led explanations, diagrams, and powerpoints. Exam questions will then be used to check for understanding.

3- Finally, I will go through exam questions with my students once they have learned the relevant content so that they can refine their exam technique and answer questions quickly and efficiently in their actual exams.
