My lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and supportive, with a strong focus on helping students truly understand biology rather than memorising facts.
Each session is tailored to the student’s level, learning pace, and academic goals. I begin by identifying areas where the student feels unsure, then break complex biological concepts into simple, logical steps using clear explanations, diagrams, and real-world examples. I encourage questions throughout the lesson so students feel comfortable engaging and building confidence in the subject.
Lessons typically follow a structured format:
• Reviewing key concepts
• Working through examples or exam-style questions
• Clarifying misconceptions
• Reinforcing understanding with summaries or practice tasks
I have a strong academic background in life sciences, holding a Master’s degree in Medical Genetics & Genomics and a Master’s degree in Zoology, which allows me to teach biology with depth, accuracy, and clarity. I have experience supporting students at secondary school level and understand the importance of exam-focused preparation alongside conceptual learning.
My teaching style is patient, calm, and encouraging. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported rather than pressured. I regularly adapt lesson pacing and methods based on student feedback to maximise progress and confidence.
I offer online lessons with flexible scheduling. My goal is to help students feel confident, capable, and well-prepared to succeed in biology, both in exams and beyond the classroom.
