Hi, I’m Yuka, a native Japanese speaker and Psychology student at Cardiff University. I don’t just teach Japanese; I design lessons around how you personally learn best.
With over 2 years of teaching experience, including teaching English to students in Japan, I’ve learned that every learner is different. Some people need structure and grammar rules. Others learn best through conversation and real-life expressions. I adapt to you, not the other way around.
My lessons can include:
- Speaking and natural conversation practice
- Grammar explained in a way that actually makes sense
- Reading and writing (Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji) from scratch
- Pronunciation coaching
- Japanese culture, slang, and everyday expressions
Whether you’re preparing for a trip to Japan, studying for an exam, interested in anime/manga, or simply curious about the language, I’ll build a lesson plan around your specific goal.
