Hello! My name is Yuan, and I am a professional Chinese language teacher currently teaching at a Chinese school in London.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, a Master's degree in TESOL from University College London (UCL), the CTCSOL Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, and teaching qualifications in both Chinese and English.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. Whether you are learning Chinese for everyday communication, HSK preparation, travel, work, academic purposes, or personal interest, I will design lessons tailored to your goals and learning style.

My teaching approach is interactive, supportive, and student-centred. I believe language learning should be practical, enjoyable, and confidence-building. In class, I use a variety of materials and activities, including real-life conversations, role plays, reading exercises, pronunciation practice, and cultural topics, to help students develop all aspects of their Chinese language skills.

As both a Chinese and English language educator, I understand the challenges language learners face and can explain difficult concepts clearly and effectively. I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and making steady progress.
