Hi! My name is Yna, I am a first year Medical Student going into my second year. I have a strong background in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in both GCSEs and A-Levels achieving A* / A.

The first lesson with me will be a strong indicator of what I am like, so all students’ first lesson will be completely FREE of charge.

I am highly adaptable to how a student learns and incredibly patient because I understand some topics can be frustrating - I know, I have been there, I’ve spent countless hours feeling defeated, because all I really needed was help from teachers, but that was not available when I truly needed it. However, hopefully I can ensure that students get the highest quality of tutoring and receive extra learning and revision material to reinforce what we cover.

My revision techniques include: whiteboard calculations / summary, having the student teach me to see if they fully understand the topic, creating flashcards (small memorisation content) and most importantly practice questions.

I am always happy to help my students, even when we are not having a lesson. I will try my best to always help others, because that is my main goal. So email me a question, and I will try to answer it as best as possible because I understand there are some really challenging questions out there.

Lastly, I do not just tutor subjects, if you are interested in applying to Medicine, I am more than happy to mentor as well. I can help with UCAT, Personal Statements, Interviews and help build a strong application to enter Medical school in the UK.
