I am currently pursuing my MSc in Data Science and Analytics at the University of Leeds, and I have a strong academic background in mathematics. While I am new to tutoring in the UK, I have always enjoyed helping classmates and younger students understand mathematical concepts during my studies in India. That experience, along with my passion for maths, has inspired me to start teaching more formally.

I believe that learning maths doesn’t have to be stressful. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and supportive. I focus on understanding the student’s needs and explaining topics in simple, relatable ways—whether that means breaking down complex formulas, using everyday examples, or working through problems step by step.

My lessons are ideal for students who need support with core school-level maths, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics. I’m happy to help with homework, revision, test preparation (like GCSEs or A-levels), or just building overall confidence in the subject. I also bring in practical insights from my data science background to show how maths is used in the real world.

I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions, learn at their own pace, and gradually develop a positive relationship with mathematics.

I’m currently available for online lessons and in some cases in-person tutoring in Leeds. I'm excited to begin this journey as a tutor and would love to help you or your child achieve success in maths.

With the right support and mindset, anyone can discover that maths is not just useful—it can actually be fun and rewarding too.
