I have taught Biology to refugee students age 7 to 18 years old. Despite the language barrier, I have overcome the challenges during my lessons by incorporating visual aids (pictures or videos) in class.
I like my future biologist to be open in learning and address any difficulties as it would help both of us to understand the lessons better. My teaching methods begins with finding the problems, treat the situation, find the solutions and test your understanding (yes, Quiz!). No lessons in life is free without tests.
I respect time, hence punctuality is important. I am very approachable and easy-going, nevertheless I expect to be respected as I shall be respectful to you too.
Lastly, a bit of inspiration if I may, I never got any A's in my Biology for my GCSE equivalent test and for that I do not enjoy studying it. Until, I did my foundation and met one of the best Biology lecturers, that I had scored Biology beautifully. Not only that, I have my Masters. My point is, sometimes you need to get yourself a good tutor to score.
That is all from me, feel free to ask me any questions relating to the tutoring program and we can try to schedule any tutor session accordingly.
Lastly, just like working out, to understand Biology, it requires exercises and tests [trial and error :)]. Enough practice and understanding, an outcome will be seen. The only thing I need from you is your Effort! See ya!
