Hala! I’m a native Arabic speaker (from Saudi Arabia) who genuinely loves teaching this language, and I think that shows up in every lesson.
My students are a mix. Some are absolute beginners who’ve never written a letter in Arabic. Others are intermediate learners who can read but freeze up the moment they need to speak. A few are heritage speakers reconnecting with the language they grew up hearing. Whatever your starting point, I’ll meet you there.
How my lessons work:
Every lesson is built around you, your goals, your pace, your reasons for learning. We’ll typically open with a quick warm-up in Arabic (don’t worry, I keep it gentle and light), move into focused work on whatever you’re tackling, whether that’s pronunciation, grammar, conversation, or reading, and close with something you can practice before our next session.
I mix structured material (textbooks, grammar drills, vocabulary building) with real-world content like songs, short videos, news headlines, even memes. Because the Arabic you’ll actually use isn’t only in textbooks. It’s in everyday conversations, media, and culture.
A bit about my approach:
I’m patient, I explain things multiple ways until something clicks, and I don’t believe in shaming mistakes. I only believe in encouragement. I can teach Modern Standard Arabic for reading and formal contexts, and dialect for everyday speaking. We’ll figure out the right mix for your goals.
Between lessons, I share notes, resources, and small assignments so your progress doesn’t stall. Ready when you are. Let’s get you speaking Arabic.
