Yara Nagi

I am a Physics Lecturer with a Ph.D. in Physics from the Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, Egypt, and over eight years of experience in higher education. Since 2018, I have been teaching undergraduate students in health science disciplines, delivering physics courses that integrate fundamental physical principles with medical and biological applications.

My teaching portfolio includes Physics for Dentistry students and Biophysics for Physiotherapy students. My responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, developing course materials, conducting laboratory sessions, designing examinations and assessments, evaluating student performance, and providing academic advising and mentoring. I am committed to creating an interactive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and student engagement.

Beyond teaching, I actively contribute to curriculum implementation, laboratory supervision, academic quality assurance, and continuous course improvement. I employ a range of student-centered teaching strategies, including interactive lectures, problem-based learning, practical demonstrations, and technology-enhanced instruction to support diverse learning needs and improve educational outcomes.

My research interests focus on nanomaterials, green synthesis of nanoparticles, polymer nanocomposites, biophysics, and radiation physics. I have published peer-reviewed research and have hands-on experience with advanced characterization techniques, including XRD, FTIR, UV–Visible Spectroscopy, and SEM.

I am passionate about higher education, scientific research, and mentoring students. I am dedicated to fostering academics excellence, promoting lifelong learning, and helping students develop the analytical, practical, and problem-solving skills required for success in scientific and healthcare professions.
