I have experience tutoring both IGCSE and AQA GCSE Mathematics, helping students strengthen their understanding, improve their exam technique and build confidence in areas they previously found difficult. My students showed noticeable improvement within just a few weeks of tutoring, which reinforced my belief that targeted and consistent practice can make a significant difference.

My teaching style is highly personalised and results-focused. I first identify the topics and question types that a student finds most challenging, rather than spending equal amounts of time on areas they already understand. I then explain the underlying concepts step by step before working through examples together. Once the student becomes more confident, I introduce increasingly challenging questions to help them progress towards higher grades.

Past-paper practice is an important part of my lessons. I use questions from the relevant exam board to familiarise students with the wording, structure and difficulty of real examinations. We analyze mistakes together, identify recurring weaknesses and practise similar questions until the student can solve them independently.

Lessons are adapted to each student's individual goals, whether they need to strengthen their foundations, prepare for an upcoming exam. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, while still challenging them to reach their full potential.
