Yanet Calvo

I am a Colombian national with a degree in English and Spanish literature from a Colombian university.

I have been a teacher for thirty-five years, and I have worked in a school setting, an oil company for one year, and secondary schools in Colombia, South Carolina, USA and London.

Currently, I am working as an assistant in a secondary school in London supporting students in different subjects.

I also teach Spanish remotely. The lessons include a presentation and a workbook for students to be able to revise. Each presentation includes vocabulary, grammar, a reading section and a booklet to practise your writing skills.

It's important for me to tailor my lessons according to my student's needs. If you need your lessons for a particular purpose it will taken into account to make your learning a rewarding experience.

Since 2008, I have tutored GCSE students who want to improve their skills in Spanish and develop their confidence to participate in class or to take their exams.
