Greetings,
My lessons focus on building a deep understanding of topics rather than simply memorising mark schemes. I use exam questions regularly to develop exam technique, identify weaknesses, and improve confidence under timed conditions. I aim to teach students how to think through problems independently so they can apply knowledge to unfamiliar questions and achieve strong results efficiently. Lessons are structured, focused, and adapted to each student’s pace and goals.
Academically, I have a strong background in STEM subjects. I completed GCSE Mathematics a year early and achieved strong results across science and maths. I currently study Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, and Physics, which allows me to teach with up-to-date knowledge and strong problem-solving skills. Physics is a particular strength of mine, and I enjoy helping students move beyond memorising methods to developing a deeper understanding and confidence in applying concepts independently.
I also believe that strong teaching comes from building a good connection with students. I aim to create a comfortable and supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. Everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style and explanations to suit each student, helping them understand topics in the way that works best for them and making lessons both effective and enjoyable.
